Hope Yanagui

Growing up, I faced challenges that have shaped me into the person I am today. My passion is to help others and pursue my dreams. Baking often served as my creative outlet, teaching me patience and attention to detail. Someday, I envision opening a little bakery, a space filled with the warmth of freshly baked goods and of course the smell of it all brings me peace. However, my heart truly belongs to the dream of nurturing newborns back to health. I’m determined to find a job now that can lead me closer to my dream with each step in finishing school to make a difference in the world.

 As a Shift Lead at Panda Express, I honed my leadership skills by managing daily store operations and training team members. My volunteer work includes coordinating elderly home visits to combat isolation, managing gift donations for families during the holidays, organizing food bank distribution, and recruiting volunteers for blood drives, all fostering community engagement and support.

Earned my diploma at Granger High School. Now, I'm focused on continuing my education at Salt Lake Community College.
