Hanna Kunka

I am a UX designer based in New York City, born in Poland and grew up in Sweden. My background is in fashion design and technology. I believe the connection between creative thinking and technology is essential in buliding a better user experience for all people. I love creating modern, accessible experiences, and researching the psychology behind a user’s actions in hopes of improving the accessibility for everyday life.

• Conducted research on lifestyle and design trends that would guide the visual merchandising strategy and enable remaining on the cutting edge of visual design and merchandising.
• Created and implemented a visual merchandising strategy for the store, ensuring the strategy was in line with the store's brand, products, and target market.
• Sourced the props, creative materials, and accessories for displays, finalizing designs and creating detailed floor plans for display areas.
• Changed displays to promote new product launches or to reflect festive and seasonal themes
• Interpreted the company's message and vision, and creatively incorporated them into visual design, and worked cross-functionally with other departments to gather insights and determine areas to be addressed and improved.
