Peirce & Salvato PLLC, White Plains, NY Legal Intern, May 2022 – August 2022 Supported the daily operations of this medium-sized law firm servicing clients throughout the New York metro area who acted as counsel for claims with State Farm Fire and Casualty Company. This included, construction accidents, slip & fall, business liability, motor vehicle accidents and other personal injury claims. Also supported the firm’s activity in employment, criminal and municipal matters. Performed and analyzed legal research for attorneys use on various briefs, memos and correspondence between counsels. Wrote motions, demands, stipulations and letters that were used in cases and filed in NYSCEF. Created status reports and deposition summaries that would be communicated with insurance company claims representatives. Authored detailed legal comparisons for firm Partners outlining differences in New York, Ohio and Connecticut state law supporting the firm’s future expansion plans.

Greenberg Traurig, Florham Park, NJ Paralegal, June 2019 – August 2021 Supported corporate litigation team that provided counsel for Fortune 500 companies, throughout the entire litigation process. Assisted attorneys in many different practice areas, including Labor & Employment, Bankruptcy, and Construction and Pro-Bono cases. Prepared witness interview memoranda; reviewed and summarized documents, including deposition and court transcripts; and created and used substantive coding tools. Conducted document reviews, prepared documentation for criteria changes, and tracked and reported on progress and results. Assisted with trial preparation, including creating trial notebooks, identifying and organizing exhibits, coordinating witness schedules, maintaining trial calendars, and communicating effectively with opposing counsel and courtroom staff.
