Emily Sonnier

Hello! I'm Emily Sonnier, a collaborative and positive-minded designer. 

A soon-to-be grad with a bachelor’s of Science in Industrial Design with a minor in Business Administration. (May 2023) 

My most recent experience was as a jewelry design intern for Fossil Group. In this role, I helped take jewelry designs from ideation to production with my teammates consisting of product development, merchandising, and other designers. 

Following my graduation, I am hoping to land an assistant designer that would allow to relocate to Amsterdam! 

I am Houston, Texas native, one of America’s most diverse cities, I love exploring the broad range of cultures surrounding me through food and art. My hobbies outside design are cooking, yoga, and traveling. I am always craving new experiences.

• Conceptualized new jewelry designs for FOSSIL line plan keeping with the brand’s current aesthetics 
• Researched new design trends and created detailed tech pack CAD drawings through Adobe Illustrator
• Provided administrative/system support of design development through PLM software
• Collaborated with Product Development & Merchandising team to ensure designs met budget expectations
• Presented summer design project to 70 people in upper management for industry feedback
