With a multifaceted career spanning workforce development, community programs, education, and marketing, I bring extensive experience in employer engagement, client coaching, program coordination, and instructional delivery. In my current role as a Business Relations/Employment Services Specialist with the Delaware Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, I serve as a key liaison to the business community, support recruitment and training initiatives, guide job seekers—particularly individuals with disabilities—through employment planning, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Previously, as a Programs Coordinator with the Alzheimer’s Association, I led community engagement, partnership development, DEI initiatives, and public education efforts across diverse stakeholder groups. My background also includes several years as an Educational Training Specialist and adjunct instructor supporting adult learners, more than a decade as an elementary and middle school teacher fostering student growth and mentoring educators, and earlier leadership roles in marketing and communications within the banking and corporate sectors. Across all positions, I have demonstrated strengths in relationship building, training, outreach, data management, and delivering high‑quality, mission‑driven services.
 

You hold a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Wilmington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Radio, TV, and Film Communications from Temple University. You are a Delaware‑licensed Early Childhood and Elementary (K–8) teacher with additional credentials including Reading Specialist certification, National Core Curriculum training, and certification as a BEST Plus and TABE 11/12 test administrator.
