About Ibrahim Khalifa-Davis:
My name is Ibrahim Khalifa-Davis. I am from the Midwestern region of the United States, and I have a large interest in linguistics and literature. I am an English teacher and aspire to one day publish many bestselling books.
Experience
I have worked as a teacher in several programs and locations. I started off being a writing center tutor at Washtenaw Community College. Then, I taught a first year seminar course to college freshmen. I worked at an adult basic education center. Then I taught several classes at the University of Minnesota. Most recently, I have been an English support consultant. I still teach and write on the side.
Education
Everyone applying for these teaching jobs are highly qualified, but now I will explain the reasons why I am distinguished from the application pool. It’s not merely that I have a Master’s degree in TESOL, an undergraduate degree in English, 4+ years of English instruction and experience, a TEFL certificate, that I’m a native speaker, and that I’ve taught and spent time in other countries, but I truly love teaching and seeing my students learn. I take teaching very seriously, as this is the way I wish to contribute to society. My grandparents, parents, an uncle, and an aunt are teachers and professors.
