On contract assignment for Outsource Consulting Services, Inc., I performed installs, moves, adds, and changes of Dell workstations, flat panel monitors, and printers.  I performed an inventory of old monitors and computers for salvage.  I also performed Hard Drive Imaging, troubleshooting, maintenance, and management of the corporate application Alico Systems software, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Exchange Server, and Microsoft Office 2003 suite applications

Service Representative

Under the direction of the site supervisor and/or team leader, I performed installs, adds, moves, and changes of IBM Workstations, local and network printers. I performed ThinkPad 600 migrations running the Microsoft 2000 Professional Operating System and installed computerized cash registers, printers, and scanners for Washington Mutual. I also performed Gateway installs of desktop and mid-tower computers running the Microsoft 2000 Millennium Edition Operating System with orientation.  I installed device drivers, application software, and the configuration of American Online ISP (Internet Service Provider) services.  In addition, I installed printers, scanners, upgraded memory, (DVD) Digital Video Disc, CD-Rewriters, etc.

Junior Network Administrator

Under the direction of the Network Administrator, as a Junior Network Administrator, I provided first-line Desktop Support to clients in the areas of installation, configuration, analysis, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of software and hardware issues on Microsoft Office 2000, Visual Manufacturing, etc., on a Windows 98 and Windows NT Server/Workstation 4.0 environment. Through a purchase requisition, I would fulfill all hardware and software orders for the IS department and corporate clients by coordinating with local vendors.  I also accurately tracked volume and content of service calls from voice mail and e-mail services for Desktop Support issues.  I conferred/coordinated with Technical Support for advanced troubleshooting of hardware/software issues.  I also performed setups of new user accounts, e-mail accounts on the Exchange server, remote access, etc.

Field Technician/Short-Term Contractor

As a Field Technician for Comark Corporation, I installed (SAW) Staff Agency Workstations for State Farm Insurance Company.  I performed hardware setup, web-based customization, installation of (SMS) Systems Management Server, performed backup, and restoration client’s data files.  I also performed minimal troubleshooting, installed the Windows NT Workstation 4.0, Enterprise E-mail/Outlook software, and logged onto the Windows NT Server 4.0 to verify installation of the Enterprise E-mail/Outlook software and to install it if necessary.  I performed installation and configuration of network and local printers, and escalated all hardware/software issues to (ODS) On-Demand Services for fixes of client workstations.  I performed the removal of all data on the old (SAW) Staff Agency Workstation hard disk with special wipe utility software.  I packaged old computers for disposal vendor’s pickup and documented state agent code, machine ID, serial number, barcode, and disposal vendor's confirmation number on an installation log for submitting to the field technician supervisor.

On-Site Engineer/Contractor

As an On-Site Engineer for PMI Mortgage Insurance CO., I performed the following tasks: partitioned and formatted the hard drive for imaging.  This process continued with the installation and configuration of Windows NT Workstation 4.0. I installed the following software applications: Microsoft Office 97 Professional, Netscape Navigator 4.5, Internet Explorer 5.0, and McAfee Anti-Virus 4.3.  Additionally, I installed GroupWise 5.0, DiskKeeper 4.0, Client Access 3.2, and Adobe Acrobat 4.0 (Reader).  I performed updates of all software to Y2K compliance, performed level one troubleshooting, and installed client workstations and network/local printers.  I performed installation and cabling of LAN/WAN server terminal stations.
