About Chieh-Yang Huang:
I specialize in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Human Computer Interaction (HCI), creating AI-powered and crowd-powered tools to support language-related tasks. In particular, I develop tools to help (i) creative writing, (ii) scientific writing, (iii) figure captioning, (iv) language learning, (v) data annotation, and so on. I have expertise in language generation models and full-stack web development, and my research explores how people interact with these systems to derive maximum benefit.
Experience
I am a researcher specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Human Computer Interaction (HCI), with a focus on developing AI-powered and crowd-powered tools to support various language-related tasks. My expertise includes language generation models, full-stack web development, and understanding user interactions with AI systems. I have interned at Microsoft Research and Megagon Labs, working on projects related to security AI, HCI, and deep learning. Additionally, I have been a Research Assistant at Penn State University, contributing to a wide range of projects involving crowdsourcing, NLP, deep learning, and HCI in the context of writing support systems, conversational agents, and creative writing.
