I am seeking opportunities where I can leverage my skills and contribute to a forward-thinking team, particularly in roles that align with my passions for sustainability, social impact, and effective storytelling. 

Whether communicating via email with teammates on a project, texting with friends, or having an old-fashioned face to face conversation with a loved one, it’s easy to overlook how vital the ability to clearly communicate ideas and goals is in everyday life. My time at the College of Communication Arts and Sciences at Michigan State University has allowed me to appreciate the different methods we use to communicate, and has expanded my ability to take initiative and adapt my skills to varying circumstances.

I am currently seeking employment that will allow me to apply my experience in communication along with my Spanish language skills and passion for the environment.

I bring a detail oriented approach to every project and task I am presented with, whether it be a group assignment worth a majority of my grade, or a simple painting for personal enjoyment. I have been involved in both leadership as well as group focused environments where I have problem solved and collaborated with others, and I am eager to bring my knowledge to the workplace and continue to learn.

I have had a wide variety of professional experiences that have allowed me to become better equipped for many kinds of work in the communications field. In my previous roles, I specialised in customer service, writing and editing outgoing documents, specifically newsletters, press releases and articles, and marketing through harnessing the power of social media. As a young professional, I have strengths in capturing the younger generations outlook and understanding what they're looking for out of larger companies and organisations. I have also had a lot of experience in marketing through promotional events, working with everything from basics like setup and cleanup to dealing with event logistics. I have a strong work ethic and I am eager to learn. 

My time at Michigan State allowed me to learn the ins and outs of communication of all styles and variations. While I focused on intercultural communication with my degree, I also studied everything from organisational com to interpersonal and health communication. I was able to do a lot of hands-on, immersive learning through projects like creating and running a campaign or marketing products in the most effective way. Through these kinds of experiences, I have become a better student of the field of communications which I believe lends itself towards making me a more versatile candidate for a wide range of employment opportunities.
