About Channing Morrison:
I recently graduated with an MA in History, focusing on European and World War II war crime studies. I'm very passionate about teaching and sharing knowledge about our past. I also have earned a BA minor in Social Studies and an Associate degree in Child Development. I have developed skills in the museum sector in research, artifacts, curating, and records. My strengths are interpreting fine details and analyzing connections to understand my studies and environment comprehensively. I have excellent organizing skills and communication with colleagues and clients. I believe I would be an asset and successful in any work environment.
Experience
I worked at the Smith County Historical Society Museum for 3 years. I researched, created, and cataloged artifacts and records. I helped individuals and businesses locate records and photographs. I created displays and records of artifacts for the museum. I also presented knowledgeable tours for the museum's public.
Education
I earned my Master's Degree in History from the University of Texas at Tyler in December 2024. My focus and thesis specialized in the European Theatre and Pacific Theatre/World War II unrecognized crimes and violence.
