 Accounts Receivable Specialist at Markstein Beverage Co. North Highlands, California, United States Summary  Markstein Beverage Co. Accounts Receivable Specialist January 2018 - Present (5 years 3 months) Sacramento, California Area Cross-trained into receptionist, customer service and Driver check in. Duties include: -Deposit using US Bank online electronic deposit. -Learn the system from Markstein, "VIP" to enter in orders that both Sales reps and customers will place over the phone. -Knowledge of beer products how many ounces, cans or bottles and how they are packaged. Knowledge of what brewers we distribute. -Everyday insure all tasks are completed with check list. -After hours answering service calls are emailed and distributed to appropriate department. -All picklist from orders from the previous day are checked to see if they have processed. * Order all office supplies on weekly basis and ensure proper department gets the correct thing they ordered. *Billing of every order from the supplies is coded to the specific department. Ensure proper amount is billed to the correct department. Page 1 of 4 * Every month Bill all rental coolers. Using Excel spreadsheet to check the bill to date and charge customers. to the current month bill date. Mail one copy of invoice to customer. *Alcohol Beverage Control license expiration. Ensure every month that all license for accounts have been renewed. If not shut down account. *Knowledge of Alcohol Beverage Control laws. Frequent training Yearly to insure all laws are enforced. *Handle work orders the sales representatives place to pick up and credit beer that either is a seasonal exchange, once for once exchange, or a pick up and credit. Ensure work orders are in the proper place and valid per Markstein Policy and ABC Policy. Any rejected work orders the sales rep is informed. *Jockey box Rentals logged through excel. Rent to accounts and insure return within a week. * Call on a weekly basis customer survey to ensure how we as a company are doing for our customers. Log and keep track of scores in excel. * Void all invoices that are in the system as a backorder and over 3 days old.
