Hello, I possess more than 18 years of progressive experience in the nursing field. My professional history includes an array of positions from charge nurse on the medical surgical unit to that as a provider. My educational background as an evidence-based practice nurse practitioner ensures that the instructions and teaching rendered in the classroom are formulated for students to be successful in nursing. As a current practicing Nurse Practitioner, I bring the energy and enthusiasm that will stimulate student growth and academic success. My years of experience in multiple demanding areas of care allows me to perform even under the most stressful events and circumstances.   

Areas of experience include post-acute care, medical/surgical, mental health, ICU, ER, GYN, GU, nursing home, pediatric primary care, long term health care, hospitalist, prison health, and rehabilitation nursing. Management experience in long term care and rehabilitation as a unit manager. Years of experience as a charge nurse on the medical/surgical unit in the acute care setting. Experienced in a wide range of population from infancy to geriatric as an advanced nurse practitioner. Strong capability and capacity to care for patients in a diverse patient population setting. Over 4 years of experience as an Adjunct Nursing Clinical Instructor in the medical surgical/mental health area within the University/community college and clinical setting. 

Master's degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Primary Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Doctoral degree in Nursing. Currently completing a Master's degree in Law.
