Ashley Shaw

My name is Ashley, a North Augusta native who is 26. I am looking for a summer/temporary Nanny position. After graduating college in 2018, I started to work for a local company that recently laid me off. I have a long standing passion for children and teaching. I pour my heart and soul into my work, after being laid off, I am looking to take time and go back to being a Nanny for some time. 

I have a Bachelors in Economics and Business Management and over 9 years of office experience. I worked for an In Home Daycare for 2years. In this position, I assisted the primary care giver in ensuring we remained on schedule and organized. I also worked as a private Nanny for a family with 5 children (6month boy, 9month twins, 2 girl, and 3boy) for a year and half. While assisting the family as a private nanny, I assisted with every day care of the children, vacations, doctors appointments, and meal prep for the week. 

I do have some unconventional experience I would also like you to know about. I come from a large family and am the oldest grandchild. I have always been the designated ‘babysitter’ and before I was 13years old I realized I had a unique skill and passion for the job. I grew up in my grandmothers daycare which she operated and ran for over 15years. My mother soon also opened a daycare for 5 years and I helped her primary on creating a preschool schedule and outdoor actives.
