About Amanda Tupy:
My name is Amanda Tupy; I am a junior majoring in Interior Design and minoring in Business Administration and Architecture at the University of Wisconsin–Stout (CIDA accredited). I am enthusiastic about all things related to the interior design and architecture industry, from laying out spaces to selecting colors, finishes, and furniture, to handling furniture and maintaining an organized library/inventory, and to assisting the design team with daily tasks.
Last summer and over breaks, I interned with an interior design firm that was a sister company of a luxury home builder in the Twin Cities. I was exposed to various project types, clients, and professionals. Assisted in fabric, finish, and furniture selection; developed material palettes and presentation materials. I also organized, ordered, and upkept the office space and material library. I learned so much and loved being able to put all that I have learned to use in a hands-on environment.
My resume summarizes my experience and personal qualities—including a strong work ethic plus excellent organizational and communication skills. My portfolio contains various work, including project renderings, fixtures, furniture and equipment selections, and construction documentation sheets. All in all, I am a very fast learner who is up for any challenge.
I am interested in internship and future career opportunities. I look forward to connecting with you!
