The Neonatology department (28 treatment places, 10 of which are in the neonatal intensive care unit) together with the gynecology and pediatric surgery clinics form a Level 1 perinatal center.

Approximately children are born and approximately sick premature and newborns are treated annually, including many small premature babies.
