Production Control Clerk (B)

Purpose:

This position is responsible for maintaining work scheduling data, work status-to-date, process controls, and forecasting completions and computations of various tasks on contract units in Fargo, AR.

The Production Control Clerk will prepare, transfer, systematize, and preserve both written and computerized communications and records. They will also gather and distribute information and account for stores of materials.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Compile and record production data to compare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production, performing any combination of the following duties
  • Compile and record production data from documents such as customer orders, work orders, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets following prescribed recording procedures
  • Calculate factors such as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, amount of scrap, frequency of defects, and worker and department production rates
  • Write production reports based on compiled, tabulated, and computed data, following prescribed formats
  • Maintain files of documents used and prepared
  • Prepare written work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities
  • Compile material inventory records and prepare requisitions for procurement of materials
