WHAT TO EXPECT

As a Buyer Beauty at KaDeWe Group, you will be responsible for purchasing a national and international portfolio of luxury brands and researching trends and developments in the beauty industry.


Your tasks will include:


  • You will develop strategies and concepts for assortment design, key figures, location placements, and sales orientations
  • You continuously adjust your merchandise planning to current market and competitive conditions and work closely with the Head of Buying to develop qualitative and quantitative assortment guidelines
  • With your excellent negotiation skills, you will negotiate purchase prices, terms, and conditions
  • You will optimize industryspecific value chains, always keeping an eye on merchandise control, and explore the use of alternative management methods

WHAT YOU BRING
We are looking for a passionate and experienced buyer (m/f/d) who can enrich our beauty department with their skills.

  • You have completed a degree in business administration or a comparable commercial education and have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • You are an expert in the national and international scene, who wants to contribute their style expertise and affinity for luxury beauty products and trends
  • Even in challenging situations, you keep a cool head
  • You have fluent German and English skills and excellent knowledge of MS Office products
  • You are characterized by strong negotiation and decisionmaking skills, as well as a service and customeroriented work style, and are willing to travel
