The AWO Regional Association Mitte-West-Thüringen e.V. is currently seeking dedicated team members for the AWO Stübchen in Weimar, starting immediately for full-time positions as part of the Federal Volunteer Service.

Who are we?

Our bright, friendly meeting rooms invite you to cozy family cafes, courses, joint leisure activities, and relaxing on the sun terrace. The topic of health/well-being in the neighborhood is always present. This allows us to offer various events related to nutrition, relaxation, and exercise, promoting both physical and mental health as well as enjoyable experiences for families.

With the project "Healthy in Weimar Nord," we want to work together with families from Weimar-Nord to create offers and promote a lively community in the neighborhood. With your support, we strengthen community living in the neighborhood and promote well-being.

In addition, as part of the program "Mitten im Alter 60+ Gemeinschaft (er)leben," we support people over 60 with shopping and visits to authorities, filling out forms, questions about medical care, and help finding the right care services or suitable counseling centers.
