We are currently seeking a residential group leader (m/f/d) for the
group home for people with disabilities in Dresden-Leuben, starting as soon as possible.

The position is full-time (39 hours per week) and permanent.


Responsibilities:


  • Planning and implementation of individual care, activities, and support for residents, as well as individual nursing care
  • Planning, accompanying, and documenting home visits
  • Planning and implementation of individual household tasks in the care of residents
  • Creating individual social and developmental reports for submission to the responsible funding agency
  • Development and participation in individual overall planning procedures with the responsible funding agency
  • Contact and care for various support providers for residents, family members, and caregivers
  • Working in a key worker system
  • Planning and structuring of group home routines
  • Team leadership
  • Planning and conducting team meetings and retreats

Requirements:


  • Degree in special education, rehabilitation education, or nursing, or additional training in special or educational pedagogy
  • Solid knowledge and experience in the field of disability support
  • Knowledge of the Federal Participation Act (BTHG)
  • Knowledge of planning and implementing special educational individual support and care services
  • Knowledge of procedures for individual care planning and proper documentation of developmental progress (integrative participation planning)
  • Empathetic approach to residents
  • High level of flexibility and good organizational skills
  • Knowledge of conflict management
  • Strong reflective skills
  • Basic knowledge of IT
