HERE YOU WILL WORK:


For our client, a leading and internationally operating company in the life science industry, we are looking for a strategic purchaser to further expand the purchasing team.


YOUR TASKS WILL INCLUDE:


  • In your role as a strategic purchaser, you will take on a leading role in contract and purchasing negotiations
  • You will maintain and develop existing as well as new supplier relationships, conduct benchmarking and maintain SAP outline agreements
  • As part of the procurement processes, you ensure that procurement goals and guidelines are met in your area of responsibility
  • You also support management in escalating problems with nonconformity/warranty processes
  • Finally, you are responsible for cost planning for materials and services

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • You have successfully completed your business studies
  • You have several years of professional experience in purchasing and have a strong understanding of numbers
  • You are open to the digitalization of work processes and have a good technical understanding
  • You have good English skills and can communicate confidently in an international business
