  • Youth and Residential Care Worker (m/f/d)

At the main house of Pilgerhaus Weinheim and at other locations in the Rhine-Neckar district, our goal is to improve the daily lives of the young and adult individuals entrusted to us - through educational offerings, housing and care, counseling, support in daily life, or assistance with leisure activities.

Pilgerhaus is the carrier of Peter-Koch-Schule, a special education school with a focus on emotional and social development. School and youth welfare are closely linked with us.

In the field of youth welfare, we offer residential living options and part-time day care for children and adolescents in different age groups, supported living, two emergency placements, the children's daycare center Mullewapp, the kindergarten Sternschnuppe, as well as various counseling services.

To support our interdisciplinary teams in
part-time youth welfare, we are looking for:

Youth and Residential Care Workers (m/f/d)
with a workload of 50 to 100%.


Your tasks include:

  • Pedagogical support for young people with attachment issues and trauma, as well as resulting difficulties in social behavior and emotional experience
  • Structured daily routine
  • Assistance plan meetings
  • Close cooperation with Peter-KochSchule (special education school) and cooperation partners
  • Participation in projects, creative collaboration with the team, and joint development of our offerings
