The central university administration of Friedrich-Alexander-Universität is currently seeking a temporary employee for the Chief Brand Office in the area of Brand Management (m/f/d) (E 13 TV-L, full-time or part-time with a minimum of 30 hours/week, location Nuremberg).


The Chief Brand Officer (CBO) and the attached Brand Office are responsible for the conception, management, and communication of the FAU brand.

They are responsible for implementing, protecting, strengthening, and meaningfully developing the FAU brand throughout the university in order to fully utilize its potential.

Your responsibilities:


  • Strategic development, positioning, and coordination of the FAU brand
  • Management of the FAU brand across all marketing channels; development of creative marketing activities including operational implementation for sustainable, coherent, and continuous brand management
  • Brand maintenance and expansion including building networks, planning and organizing brand events and trainings, and creating a brand portal
  • Close collaboration with various FAU departments as well as internal and external graphic providers as the conception, management, and communication center for the FAU brand

Required qualifications:

  • Completed university degree (Master's or equivalent) in the field of marketing, communication sciences, communication design, management, business, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in brand/marketing/communication strategy
