Motorcycle City Zschopau


The motorcycle city of Zschopau in the Erzgebirge region, with a population of around 10,000 in the administrative community of Zschopau and the participating municipality of Gornau, is located in the south of Saxony, right next to Chemnitz.

The cityscape is characterized by the contrast between the natural location in the picturesque Zschopau valley and the diverse, partly listed Zschopau architecture.


We are looking for a temporary full-time
Property Transactions Officer (m/f/d) for the building department of the city of Zschopau.


Your main tasks include:

  • Independent processing of all types of propertyrelated contracts, including negotiations with property owners, authorities and notaries, as well as preparation of documents for municipal committees
  • Processing of land consolidation, land readjustment, land registry and land adjustment matters
  • Processing of preemption rights
  • Application and supervision of cadastral surveys for securing rights on thirdparty properties
  • Allocation of street and square names as well as property and building numbering
  • Research of land parcels, owners and heirs, also using old documents
  • Conducting location analyses
  • Creating exposés
  • Secretarial tasks in the City Planning and Real Estate department
