A BDE is an expert in solving customer problems/business requirements.

The BDE is responsible for accelerating time to value for our customers and supporting them in their cloud and digital transformation by aligning our solutions.

They have a good technical understanding and the ability to translate our customers' challenges into commercial solutions.

The BDE identifies, develops, and markets opportunities for defined portfolio elements in collaboration with the account management team. The focus of the BDE is on new business with new and existing customers.

For existing customers, the sales cycle is initiated by the account management team. New customers must be acquired by the BDE, but they always work as a team with the account manager.


Responsibilities

  • Building relationships with existing customers and securing new business in the area of Azure Services
  • You manage the entire sales cycle from the first customer contact to contract closure.
  • Collaboration with business development managers to ensure that the overall strategy and goals of the customer are pursued and achieved
  • Maintaining a highly detailed knowledge of Azure Services to have meaningful and relevant conversations with customers and prospects
  • Collaboration with presales consultants/technical architects/practice leaders to ensure that we develop the right solutions for our customers
