SUMMARY:
This position reports to the Sr.

Security Event Manager and will work from 12am - 8am at Gillette Stadium providing access control to restricted areas the night before an event.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide access point security looking in fixed location for unattended or suspicious items.- Report any suspicious or unattended items to security command.- Proactively prevent unauthorized individuals from accessing assigned area.- Check credentials or conduct inspections of bags and/or individuals who do have access to the restricted area.- May be assigned to be inside a security vehicle at a fixed location.- Report any issues to the security command supervisor.- Document any incidents- Special projects and assignments as business dictates


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES- This position has no supervisory responsibilities


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS- Previous security experience preferred- Attentive to detail and observant- Effective listening and communication skills, oral and written- Ability to remain calm and work under pressure


PHYSICAL DEMANDS- Ability to work extended periods of time.- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions


WORK ENVIRONMENT- Ability to work in an outdoor environment in various temperatures and weather conditions- Ability to work all mandatory events- Availability during nights, weekends, and holidays- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud on event days
