SUMMARY:

This role is crucial for maintaining the security of the facility by conducting regular patrols around the premises to ensure it is secure.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Inform supervisor promptly about any incidents
  • Keep a detailed shift log and inspect vehicles
  • Fill out incident reports as needed
  • Keep fire lanes clear
  • Support the gatehouse officer when required
  • Conduct exterior guard tours
  • Assist the finance department with bank errands
  • Take on special projects and tasks as required by the business



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position does not involve overseeing other employees.




SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Outstanding driving record
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
  • Strong powers of observation
  • Proficient in concise written communication
  • Thorough comprehension of security operations
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Flexible availability; willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary



PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Regularly requires sitting and using hands for tasks
  • Frequent talking and listening
  • Occasional reaching with hands and arms
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Specific vision abilities needed include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Reasonable accommodations can be provided for individuals with disabilities



WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Moderate noise levels on regular days and high noise levels during events; may need to work in adverse weather conditions
