The University Library of the University of Bayreuth is seeking to fill two positions for

Librarians (m/f/d) (Bachelor's or Diploma)

each in full-time and permanent positions as soon as possible. The salary will be according to pay grade E 9 TV-L. If the requirements for civil service and career advancement are met, classification in pay grade A 9 is possible.


Possible areas of responsibility:

Integrated media processing of journals and databases

This includes:

acquisition, licensing, and cataloging of journals and databases within a team in the Media Processing Department, as well as development and coordination of digitization activities for journals.

Integrated media processing of monographs

This includes:
acquisition and cataloging of monographs and other publication formats within a team in the Media Processing Department.

Electronic publishing/Open Access

This includes:
collaboration with the Open Access (OA) team in managing the OA publication fund and
