Director of People (f/m/d)
Remote position based in Hayesville, OH


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Lead our growing EMEA team and take ownership of all People & Organization related matters in the region
  • Collaborate with the EMEA management team to build a strong organization
  • Manage a team of People Business Partners, People Operations Specialists, and Payroll experts
  • Oversee all people and organizational tasks for our 5 entities in EMEA (Germany, Netherlands, Slovenia, France, UK)
  • Work closely with our EOR provider to attract remote talent
  • Handle the entire employee life cycle for our EMEA team, including onboarding, operations, development, performance management, and offboarding
  • Act as a trusted advisor to local leadership and liaise with the global People team and internal/external stakeholders
  • Bring a strategic mindset while also being handson in your approach
  • Design and structure processes to create an engaging employee experience

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Minimum of 7 years of HR experience with a strong understanding of all HR functions and knowledge of local regulations in EMEA
  • Experience in startups or scaleups, with an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in a fastpaced environment
  • Previous leadership experience and ability to manage multiple stakeholders in an international setting
  • Empathetic with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
  • Positive, entrepreneurial, and serviceoriented mindset
