Transportation and Logistics Coordinator at Medline in Dana, IL

Your Responsibilities:

Careful and accurate planning of incoming containers for distribution centers
Continuous collaboration with the warehouse team for planning purposes
Clear communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders and other inbound team members
Ongoing communication with external stakeholders such as carriers, freight forwarders, etc.
Proactively report critical situations and their expected impact to management and plan mitigation measures
Strive for continuous innovation by taking responsibility for various processes
Validate invoices from carriers and agents
Escalate specific issues to your manager
Contribute to the overall goals of the department

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation and/or shipping and logistics, preferably in a highvolume environment
Openness to learning and implementing new processes
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to handle competing priorities in a fastpaced environment
Solutionoriented with a cando attitude
Enjoy working in a team as well as independently
Experience in air or rail freight is
