COMMUNICATION MANAGER

Starting January 1st, 2024, fixed-term for 2 years, possibility of permanent employment afterwards

for the ARD Capital Studio (HSB) in Berlin
The Communication department at HSB is responsible for press and public relations as well as internal communication.

The main task is to present the work and responsibilities of HSB to the general public and to convey it to the media and political experts.

Your tasks:

Communication: You will be responsible for the strategic development of the communication concept for HSB as well as the implementation of communication measures with a focus on online communication.

Management: You will manage press work, including maintaining contacts with media, political institutions, etc., as well as planning and organizing events. You will also be responsible for conducting editorial meetings for multipliers and visitor groups, and general public relations tasks.

Leadership: You will take on the content, organizational, and disciplinary leadership of the department, as well as budget responsibility and controlling.

Your profile:

Communication expert with a completed (Master's) degree in a relevant field for public relations and/or a successfully completed specialized training with many years of professional experience in the field, as well as:

Extensive practical experience as a communicator in press and public relations, as well as experience in leading a team.
Excellent knowledge and enjoyment of communication in challenging situations, as well as organizational skills, negotiation skills,
