What you can expect as a Development Engineer for Occupant Protection (m/f/d) at Forest City:

  • Planning and execution of development projects for the integration of occupant protection systems for German customers
  • Project responsibility for technical implementation, budget and timely processing
  • Coordination of development with project-involved product lines, functions and customers
  • Preparation, commissioning and analysis of simulations and tests, including vehicle crashes, sled tests, out of position tests
  • Concept approvals and system recommendations

What we expect from you as a Development Engineer for Occupant Protection (m/f/d) at Forest City:

  • MSc / Dipl.-Ing. / Dr.-Ing. in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, aerospace engineering, civil engineering, physics or similar
  • Excellent knowledge of technical mechanics, numerical simulation and testing techniques
  • Professional experience in the field of passive safety is an advantage
  • Strong team and communication skills as well as assertiveness
  • Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
