If you enjoy advertising and marketing, consider joining our in-house advertising team as the lead person managing our paid advertising buys.
Tyndale House Publishers, a Christian publisher of books and Bibles, is hiring a media buying manager who will plan media calendars, as well as negotiate deals and manage media contracts and invoices.
In the ever-changing world of advertising, this person would also research new media outlets and stay informed on advertising trends so that all internal stakeholders would know media mix opportunities to consider in their upcoming media plans.
We are looking for an energetic, strategic thinker with a passion for advertising as well as a leader who is detail-oriented and a champ at managing multiple projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Researching and developing media plans
- Negotiating buys for print, radio, online, podcast, and OOH advertising
- Managing the media asset traffic to outlets, and managing invoice payments to vendors
- Staying current on advertising/marketing trends
- Managing a team of media buyers
Requirements:
Exceptional project management skills, working knowledge of a database, Microsoft Excel and Word experience, ability to motivate and lead a team, an understanding of media and media deliverables, and a college degree (or equivalent professional work knowledge).
