Description:

  • As part of your responsibilities, you will be responsible for independently creating piping concepts from concept development to basic and detailed engineering to installation for plants in the (petro)chemical, energy, and oil and gas industries, taking into account process engineering aspects
  • You will be responsible for creating piping plans, isometrics, parts lists, and support drawings based on P&ID diagrams, as well as conducting on-site surveys
  • You will be responsible for conceptual layout planning and creating tender documents
  • You will act as the technical support for the planning team and also carry out quality control of the planning
  • You will coordinate interfaces with other departments and support project execution

Qualifications:

  • You have successfully completed a technical training, a degree in mechanical engineering/process engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Ideally, you have several years of practical experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility
  • You have solid knowledge of CAD systems (e.g. Microstation, AutoCAD plant 3D) as well as experience with piping classes and the application of relevant standards and regulations
  • Experience with pipe static calculations and support design is desirable
