We made strategic investments in digital health to improve patient experience and accelerate getting new medicines to patients.
Digital transformation is happening at pace within the healthcare industry, but we experienced first-hand that there were gaps in terms of the solutions currently available, which were not fully meeting the needs of patients, clinical trial sites, or sponsors.
We originally invested in creating a portfolio of novel digital solutions to accelerate our drug portfolio and improve our patient and site experience and outcomes, with demonstrated benefits )
We now see the opportunity to combine our scientific leadership with the digital expertise and technologies we have developed to offer a range of digital health solutions to the industry.
We are therefore establishing an independent health-tech business with the long-term backing of AstraZeneca – Evinova– to bring these solutions to market at scale.
In so doing, we are focusing on the huge potential for digital health to transform our collective effectiveness and fundamentally improve how new treatments are developed and how people are diagnosed and treated.
Role Summary:
The Key Account leader CROs of Evinova, will report to the Chief Commercial Officer.
The Key Account leader has overall accountability for new relationships of commercial sales for Evinova with critical strategic collaborations, operational delivery, and follow-up and ensuring process improvements are put in place to excel in customer success.
Covering the long-term business collaboration, ensuring onboarding of new studies into the solution are delightfully planned, and proactively managed, and driving an excellent experience from onboarding, to inflight studies to study closure, planning for excellence, and continuously reviewing feedback from customers to ensure the experience continues improving and is a critical differentiation as part of the service provided for Evinova.
Leading in a dotted line way the resources supporting the accounts, ensuring they are up to date with the information related to the strategic collaboration, strategic needs, timelines, and contractual requirements to plan and deliver on time and with excellent customer experience.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Defining and leading the commercial sales and input to marketing strategy development globally for Evinova, business development activities to identify new leads, ensuring marketing activities are in place, and landing sales to grow the entity from external revenue.
VP of Business Development will be responsible and accountable for key decisions related to customer segmentation, pricing, and providing critical input to product strategy and roadmap prioritization.
Lead the execution of the commercial strategy with the new organization setting up vision and direction, as well as leading the marketing and sales function.
Setting up the new global entity externally from a marketing perspective including online presence, conferences, and round tables of senior executives to ensure the external presence is enabling revenue generation.
Solving issues and handling risks as they relate to customers.
And ensuring that customer services and customer operations are in place, therefore leading the full end-to-end customer journey from sale to support.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant degree with 7 years of experience
Inspiring leader well-known in the industry with extensive experience in software sales and delivery of commercial value.
Significant experience in customer key account activities in this sector, software for pharma.
Exceptional network and relationships, well recognized and reputation.
Significant experience in commercial and operational management.
Extensive experience bringing innovation to solve complex and multi-dimensional issues from an operational, technical, financial, and human perspective.
Showed leadership in driving successful teams with new capabilities.
Proven ability to influence at the most senior level in external organizations.
Confirmed experience driving global change in complex organizations.
Significant knowledge and experience in sales, marketing, and operational delivery.
Organizational agility - builds consensus through formal and informal channels and relationships; organizationally savvy

However, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; and eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program.
Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.If hired, the employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
