On Site Mechanic - Martin Lake, MN (R

Full Time


Purpose:

The On Site Mechanic will be responsible for performing field and sustainment level maintenance and recovery on various military vehicles, including the M1, M2, M109, M992, and M88.

This includes maintaining diesel power plants, engines, fuel systems, and other mechanical and electrical components.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The On Site Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing malfunctions, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance and repairs on various vehicle systems and components.

They will also be responsible for ordering parts and performing scheduled services on the equipment fleet.


Qualification & Experience Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 years of experience as a mechanic.

They should also have at least 4 years of specialized experience working with heavy equipment track vehicles, preferably the M1A2, M2A3, or M109A6.

Experience in the Army MOS 91A/91M/91P is preferred.


Specialized knowledge and skills:

The On Site Mechanic must be able to read, write, and understand English and have the ability to analyze and interpret U.S.

Army Technical Manuals related to vehicle maintenance and repair. They may also be required to obtain a military driver's license.
