Location:
On site in Arlington, Virginia. Schedule is staggered and flexible. On-call over weekends and holidays as needed.


Position Information:

Datawiz has a current opening for a Tier II Desktop Technician to support a full-time, long term federal contract. This is an executive support role. The Technician will provide customer service while maintaining integrity and following correct SOP processes to ticket management in ServiceNow.

In this role, the Executive Support Technician will maintain prioritization, time management, and confidentiality. They will track the progress of all incidents and restore degraded or disrupted services as quickly as possible. They will also be imaging new laptops or desktop computers for first time use.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Working with high visibility clients utilizing white glove service and excellence.
  • Requiring the ability to multitask projects, assignments, and functions regularly.
  • Requires a clear understanding of on the go troubleshooting, solution management, but also keeping an open line of communication with Federal oversite and overhead.
  • Consolidation of surplus items for disposal.
  • Cleaning and organization of workrooms / storerooms.
  • Locating / verifying location of hardware assets.
  • Updating maintain accurate hardware records in ServiceNow.
  • Tagging newly delivered equipment with asset numbers for tracking.
  • Installation, removal, relocation of peripheral IT Equipment / Client office setup.
  • Act as onsite liaison coordinating with vendor for Printer Maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot / report maintenance / errors / jams with MFP and desktop printers.
  • Providing onsite support for printers in coordination with remote configuration teams.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 2 year(s) of desktop experience, including imaging desktops and laptops.
  • Schedule is staggered and flexible. Oncall over weekends and holidays as needed.
