We are currently looking for
Career changers (m/f/d)

for the group service for young refugees at our location in Coburg (20 or 40 hours per week).
This is a position in a residential group in Coburg, where we provide care for children and teenagers who have lost their homes and are now seeking a safe haven.
Working together in a multidisciplinary team also allows you to bring in your personal skills and interests and make a positive impact together.
We are a team of social workers, social and educational therapists, educators, and psychologists. Our work is characterized by interculturality, participation, and educational competence. Our goal is to support young refugees in building a future in our society.As part of your work in the residential group, you can expect a variety of tasks, including:
- Planning and conducting individual support and group activities
- Taking on the responsible role of mentor within the framework of individual care for specific children and teenagers
- Communicating with schools, doctors, and therapists and maintaining regular contact with involved institutions
- Documenting and creating regular reports and educational plans
We are looking for employees (m/f/d) with:
- A respectful and resourceoriented, educational therapeutic attitude
- The ability to manage coordination processes, daily planning, and networking
- Knowledge of documentation and reporting
- A positive attitude and a desire to experience and achieve goals together
