Loader Operator - Lucerne Valley, United States - Robar Enterprises
Description
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment used in mining operations, such as Cat 992 loader.
- Load and unload company and commercial trucks; remove overburden and waste material; transport and dump waste materials at approved sites.
- This requires great physical strength and handeye coordination.
- Inspecting the equipment before each use and reporting any problems to the supervisor.
- Must be able to operate the equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety regulations and procedures.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as changing filters and fluids, and keeping the equipment clean.
- May also assist with other tasks around the job site, such as manual labor, cleaning, and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Must follow safety procedures and work effectively in a highpressure environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Requires physical strength and handeye coordination.
- The ability to work well in a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols
Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; Previous MSHA training is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for prolonged periods
- Lifting
- Crouching
- Walking
- Works in many different weather conditions
