The Operations Coordinator is responsible for leading staff and processes for back-of-house operations to ensure Intuit Dome always operates optimally.

As Operations Coordinator, you will supervise all activities and in-house facilities, conversions, and housekeeping operations within the Intuit Dome property and grounds while ensuring the venue is always event ready.


What You Will Do:

  • Assist in the development of parttime staff including training employees on setup and breakdown of equipment, event preparation, housekeeping, and compliance with Cal. OSHA, Life & Safety, and ADA regulations.
  • Supervise private and ancillary event setup and breakdown of all equipment including stages and platforms, risers and railings, tables and chairs, etc.
  • Work directly with Operations management and Human Resources in coordinating progressive disciplinary action in verbal and written form for violation of company policies.
  • Complete daily building inspections to ensure policy compliance and quality control.
  • Carry out effective inventory management practices to guarantee staff has the appropriate equipment and supplies required to perform their duties efficiently.
  • Assist with planning and directing outside vendors/contractors to ensure compliance with contracts and safety requirements.
  • Assist in preparation of work schedules and assuring adequate coverage for department and specific events.
  • Support Intuit Dome's robust sustainability program.
  • Oversee overall cleanliness and organization of the venue.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Your Background, Skills, and Experience:


  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in the field of facility management preferably in a complex and sophisticated deadline driven environment.
  • A minimum of one (1) year supervisory management experience in live entertainment venue conversion with direct responsibility supervising and leading staffs across a wide range of operating functions in a changing environment.
  • Previous experience and certification operating heavy machinery such as forklift, scissor lift and golf carts.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact effectively and professionally, diplomatically, and maturely with internal and external clients and peers at all levels within an organization and throughout the community, both oral and written.
  • Highly organized with hunger to develop project management skills and attention to detail to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a highpressure environment.
  • Knowledge of and a passion for professional basketball and live entertainment.
  • Highly responsive to emergencies in a fast paced, time sensitive environment with demonstrated confidence, decisionmaking, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, give clear, concise direction and provide constructive feedback within a multiethnic/multicultural environment.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness/ability to work irregular, overnight and overtime hours as needed.
  • Valid driver's license

Special Requirements of the Job:


  • This position requires willingness and ability to perform physical work while remaining mobile, engaged and energetic throughout sustained periods of time.

Physical work includes but not limited to:

frequent bending, lifting and moving up to 75 pounds repeatedly, standing for long periods of time, exposure to multiple external elements, and extensive walking through the building.
