Summary
This position is located in a Field Office of the National Labor Relations Board.

The incumbent carries out work assignments of both representation and unfair labor practice cases independently and assists higher graded Examiners in the investigation of more complex case assignments.


Duties
As a Labor Management Relations Examiner (Field Examiner) GS , your typical work assignments may include:
Preparing election agreements and/or stipulations for an election;

  • Investigating challenged ballots or objections to a representation election;
  • Conducting administrative hearings to develop a record in pre and postelection settings to resolve unit placement, voting eligibility, and conduct of election issues; and
  • Analyzing issues to resolve questions concerning the appropriateness of a bargaining unit in representation cases and to resolve challenge ballots and objectives.

Pay:
$51, $66,731.00 per year
