"This is a temporary position. This position is only authorized for a period that cannot exceed 180 days from date of entry into Germany."

Purpose:

This role is responsible for managing work schedules, tracking work progress, implementing process controls, and forecasting completion of tasks for contract units.

The Production Control Lead will also maintain written and computerized communications and records, gather and distribute information, and manage material inventory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To be successful in this role, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

These duties include:

Compiling and recording production data to compare records and reports on volume, material consumption, quality control, and other production aspects.
Calculating factors such as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, scrap amounts, defect frequency, and production rates.
Writing production reports based on compiled data.
Maintaining files of documents and preparing work schedules.
Compiling material inventory records and preparing requisitions for materials and supplies.
Charting production based on compiled statistics.
Possessing a functional knowledge of and evidence of training and/or experience using the Army Supply system.
Participating in the maintenance planning cycle.
Ensuring compliance with safety directives and occupational safety and health standards.
Ensuring scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions are entered and completed in GCSS-A.
