Your responsibilities:

The position is located in the residential community of the Mettmann district in Ratingen.

The residential community provides care and support for adults with intellectual disabilities in both the stationary and ambulatory assisted living sectors.

The focus of the position is in the stationary sector, but there may also be a need for work in ambulatory assisted living.

In the stationary sector, residents are to be cared for in shift work.

In ambulatory assisted living, there may be a need for crisis intervention at different times of the day and on weekends.

The position involves a variety of nursing tasks.

Requirements (these qualifications are mandatory):

Completed training as a staterecognized educator or as a special needs caregiver

Professional competence
Experience in creating care plans and corresponding documentation
Strong social skills, especially
Ability to respectfully and attentively address the needs of adults with intellectual disabilities and a special empathy
Ability and willingness
