Description
Your tasks:
- You create clever concepts and innovative solutions in the field of our Smart Meter and communication systems
- You design professional system components made of plastic and metal
- You research new technologies and processes and qualify materials and components
- You define component, assembly, and system tests and set the testing requirements
- You clarify technical detail requirements and implement appropriate solutions in cooperation with our suppliers, production, quality assurance, and purchasing departments
- You create manufacturing drawings, documentation, and parts lists
Your profile:
- You are a creative and talented person in the field of hardware design and have a degree in mechanical engineering, precision engineering, plastic engineering, or a comparable education
- Ideally, you have practical experience in the design of assemblies
- Knowledge of component design for plastic injection molding and metal stamping and forming processes is advantageous
- You are skilled in working with 3D CAD programs, preferably Creo
- You have a self-responsible and team-oriented working style, as well as good German and English skills
