It has 756 beds in 23 specialist clinics and is an academic teaching hospital of the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg. In 2020, 1,900 employees cared for approximately 30,000 inpatients and 42,000 outpatients.


Within our
Nursing Directorate, we are currently looking for a
Medical Assistant (m/f/d) for the
Surgery/Infectiology department, starting immediately, in
part-time/full-time, on an
unlimited basis.

Your responsibilities:


  • Providing general and specialized care to patients as part of the nursing process
  • Acting as a substitute for ward assistants
  • Admitting and discharging patients or transferring them to other facilities
  • Caring for patients and their families
  • Preparing for and assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as blood draws
  • Performing specialized positioning and wound care
  • Maintaining specialized documentation
  • Training new employees, participants in further education, and apprentices
  • Operating equipment in accordance with medical device regulations
  • Adhering to specific aseptic, hygiene, and accident prevention regulations, as well as hazardous substance regulations

Your expertise that will drive us forward:
