    Job Description

    The Manufacturing Engineer Summer Intern will work closely with the manufacturing team to support various aspects of the manufacturing process. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes, optimize production efficiency, and ensure product quality.

    Essential Functions

    • Assist technical support and problem-solving skills for the Manufacturing department to meet quality and quantity objectives.
    • Assist in lean manufacturing initiatives.
    • Perform necessary testing for the department.
    • Collaborate with manufacturing to write work instructions for new manufacturing processes.
    • Assist manufacturing with initiating continuous improvement activities.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    Required Skills/Abilities
    • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and Solid Works
    Required Qualifications
    • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
    • Strong academic background with coursework in manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
    • Willingness to apply coursework to hands-on tasks within the manufacturing floor.
    • Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with a strong desire to learn and contribute to the success of the organization.
