We are currently seeking a DBA with expertise in MongoDB to join our team in Germany. This is a remote position where you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects with a growing team.

The Role

As a DBA with a focus on MongoDB, you will be working with our fast-growing consultancy to assist clients of all sizes (from start-ups to enterprises) in achieving their project goals. This may involve building new solutions, modernizing legacy applications, or performing migrations.

Your responsibilities will include building and configuring Mongo Replications and Sharding, fine-tuning configurations, implementing optimal solutions, and evaluating, planning, and performing upgrades. This is a diverse role that offers a lot of autonomy.

About You

We are looking for someone with a strong background in DBA work and at least 2 years of experience working with MongoDB (including manual builds/management and design/implementation of MongoDB replica sets and shared clusters). Experience with other NoSQL databases is also preferred. In addition to your technical skills, you should thrive in a collaborative environment and be willing to challenge the status quo.

Salary

This position is available as a 1-year contract (€55/hr) or full-time employment (€75,000).
