To strengthen the team and further develop the project for a major digitalization initiative (including a Smart Home platform), our client is currently seeking a Head of Cloud Applications (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities:

  • As Head of Cloud Applications (m/f/d), you will develop applications for Smart Home solutions with features such as connectivity, energy management, and over-the-air updates with your team.
  • You will lead the team of backend developers with disciplinary responsibility, consisting of 18 internal and 35 external employees who implement, test, and maintain microservices and serverless functions in the Azure Cloud.
  • As a chapter lead, you will ensure the architectural framework and standards in software development and actively drive technological and methodological improvements.
  • You will identify opportunities with the team to increase development efficiency and quality and develop solutions.
  • In addition, you will be responsible for providing necessary training and personal development for your team and conducting annual performance reviews.
