As the "Church Foundation of Public Law," we are seeking a broadly qualified individual to lead the commercial areas (finance, controlling, human resources, legal, and insurance) as part of a succession plan starting on January 1, 2024.

You will report directly to the Academy Director and have power of attorney.


Your responsibilities:


  • You will prepare annual and quarterly financial statements in coordination with the tax consultant and auditor.
  • You will coordinate and prepare budget plans in collaboration with all Academy departments.
  • You will continuously develop our controlling instruments and expand the interim reporting to the supervisory bodies as needed.
  • You will be responsible for managing financial assets (and the associated transaction management), real estate assets, and our inventory of rented apartments.
  • You will oversee personnel management and serve as a point of contact for all legal disputes and in mediating with employee representatives.
  • You will be our "commercial conscience" and support in strategy development, organizational and investment projects.

Your profile:


  • You have a degree in economics (Master/Diploma) as a business or administrative economist, as well as relevant professional experience in accounting, finance/controlling, and human resources.
  • You can demonstrate experience in managing commercial areas of responsibility.
  • Solid knowledge of public law structures, as well as foundation/association law and tax law, is advantageous.
  • Proficient use of common MS Office applications and DATEV is required.
  • Practical knowledge of quality and process management systems is helpful.
