My client, a leading provider of laboratory instruments and solutions for the bio-pharmaceutical and forensic industries, is seeking a Software Architect to join their software development team at their location in the Rhein-Main area.

As a Software Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing a universal software architecture, creating reference designs and best practices, and providing technical and architectural support to software developers on projects.

You will also be responsible for creating design and interface documentation, evaluating new software concepts, tools, and methods, and focusing on reusability and modularity.

Additionally, you will conduct architecture and design reviews and provide training to software developers.

To be considered for this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in software development in an industrial setting, preferably in the medical technology/robotics field, and at least 3 years of experience as a Software Architect on various hardware and software development projects.

You should also have in-depth knowledge of C# and .NET frameworks, as well as experience in developing end-user software. Proficiency in Visual Studios, Team Foundation Server, KPI reports, and Scrum is also required. Fluency in German (C1 level) is necessary for this position.
