Description

The Caritas Association for the city and district of Schweinfurt e.V. is looking for a 1 Social Worker (m/f/d) or equivalent professional for its youth welfare center "Maria Schutz" in Grafenrheinfeld for a new therapeutic residential group starting on December 1st or later.

The tasks in a therapeutic residential group include:

Accompanying and caring for children and adolescents in an 8-person group in everyday life
Ensuring pedagogical tasks in group service
Building relationships and promoting development
Using therapeutic and trauma-sensitive methods
Individual support and activities with the children
Implementation, reflection, and updating of the group concept
Assuming household, nursing, organizational, and administrative tasks
Ensuring smooth flow of information in a multidisciplinary team
Documenting therapeutic work

We expect:

State recognition as a social worker, educator, special education teacher, or equivalent
Professional experience in working with children and adolescents in the field of youth welfare
Knowledge of trauma pedagogy or willingness to undergo training
Integration and conflict resolution skills
